The agency, along with 17 state attorneys general, say that the company's strategies prevent rivals and sellers from lowering prices, degrade quality for shoppers, overcharge sellers, and more.

On November 3 starting at 9:00 am CT, the FTC and the Department of Justice, in partnership with the University of Chicago Law School, Coase-Sandor Institute for Law and Economics, will host an in-person and livestreamed Draft Guidelines workshop. 

Earlier this year, the FTC finalized a $245 million settlement with Epic Games over allegations related to in-game purchases. Now, the agency has started notifying people who may be entitled to the money.
